The Oriana Women's Choir of Toronto holds an important space in the choral community. They are one of the prominent adult women's ensembles who focus on contemporary and primarily Canadian choral repertoire. The choir has commissioned two pieces from me and the process has been a joy. The singers embraced my music and gave beautiful premieres each time. The ensemble explores contemporary ideas with grace and a generous spirit. The singers are able to capture and convey many emotions atmospheres across a wide range of musical styles.
